Today Alixandra Collections, Lake Forest walked the runway at the annual "Red Carpet on the Green Fashion Show" in Historic Market Square. This event is run by the city of Lake Forest to promote local businesses and show off all the wonderful Fall Fashions for the upcoming season. The event was honoring education and the Spirit of 67 Foundation and featured local school members as the models.
I LOVE Lake Forest. We have been apart of the community for just 3 years and the people have been so welcoming. It is such a close-knit community and has that east coast charm that reminds me of where I grew up as a kid. Our customers are so incredibly loyal to the town and all the local small businesses. We are so lucky to be apart of Market Square.
**From Left to Right
Jenn is wearing a Mystree off-white dress with a charcoal sweater overlay paired with a Deepa stretch gunmetal headband adorned with pearls, beading and Cubic Zirconia’s. This dress is perfect to dress up for a dinner date or throw on a blazer and wear to work. Her jewelry is sparkling with an assortment of sea-beaded bracelets layered with a Chan Luu wrap bracelet. The earrings are a pair of wire wrapped pyrite beads by Marcia Moran, sure to impress the crowd!
Janean is wearing an exquisite forest green leather and jersey dress by Bailey 44. Janean’s jewels start with a pair of earrings from Maria Moran that are brushed gold and set with a natural druzy stone. Her bracelets consist of a Chan Luu leather semi-precious and crystal wrap layered with a pryrite and champagne diamond bracelet for an added touch of sparkle. Another option to wear with this dress is some layered gold necklaces or bracelets, a popular Fall trend this year.

Julie is wearing a black sleeveless Morgan style dress by Amy Matto accented with an exposed gunmetal zipper. This dress makes such a statement; a little black dress with tons of character. On Julie’s wrist she is wearing a multi-chain magnetic cuff by Lisa Freede and her earrings are handmade in Paris by La Vie. Why are little black dresses so popular? Because you can dress it up so many different ways. The options are endless!
