My Latest St. Louis Trip for Jessica's Wedding!
Posted on 26 August 2013
I traveled back to the midwest this past week to oversee some remodeling of our Hinsdale stores and most importantly to go to St. Louis for Jessica’s wedding. A busy weekend for sure but it flew by.
During my drive down to St Louis I was reminiscing on how blessed I am to have such a wonderful support staff at Alixandra Collections. With over 40 employees, some of these girls I have seen grow up before my eyes. Jessica came to work for me right after we opened the St. Louis store and has been with us now for 5 years. To see her grow over the years and then be able to be included in her special day was a very proud moment for me. I only see a small portion of my employees lives and to be able to witness such a beautiful and heartfelt occasion… it meant a lot.

Spending time with the St. Louis staff was a blast! Gale Theis, the manager at the St. Louis store has built this team of women that are so strong and hardworking… we are very lucky to have them on the AC team. Not to mention, they are hilarious. I was belly laughing most of the evening.
They celebrated at the SqWires Restaurant/Annex in Historic Downtown Lafayette Square. The brick wall, tall windows, soaring ceilings made it such a quaint, lovely reception. The venue was also such a nice break from tradition and the details really represented who Jessica is. A modern view of a wedding with traditional accents throughout. Great food, great music and dancing and of course the drinks were flowing!

Alixandra Collection’s Lead Designer, Allison and her boyfriend T.J.
Some of our former St. Louis employees, Ana Stevens and Chelsea Robinson. We were lucky to have them in the past and happy that they are building such bright futures in the fashion industry.
This is Chelsea’s purse… St. Louis LOVES to Monogram EVERYTHING! Chelsea had her leather purse monogramed and it looked really good.
